Norbert Eder

Norbert Eder ( born November 7, 1955 in Bibergau, today Dettelbach ) is a former German football player.

Career

Clubs

After ten years at the youth club VfR Bibergau Eder joined as a 18 year old in December 1973 to 1st FC Nuremberg, with whom he was in 1974 German A- Youth Champion. From 1974 to 1984, he scored 27 goals in 301 games for the " club " with which he was promoted to the Bundesliga 1978/79 and 1980/81. His professional debut came on 28 August 1974 ( 5th Round ) - in the 80th minute substitute for Jan Majkowski - as the " Club" the third division SpVgg Bayreuth lost with 1:3. His first goal he achieved on February 1, 1975 ( 22 Matchday) at the 6:5 home win over FC 08 Homburg. His debut as league players ended on 12 August 1978 ( 1st Round ) with a 0:2 home defeat against VfL Bochum; his first Bundesliga goal meant on December 23, 1978 ( 16th Round ) 1-0 home win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

1984-1988 was his most successful period as a footballer; he belonged to the squad of FC Bayern Munich, with whom he won four titles. Moreover, he came to 28 European Cup games with a hit, 2-0 ( Final 3:2 ) against Real Madrid ( in the quarter -final first leg on March 2, 1988) as the highlight.

His career was in June 1990 after two seasons at FC Zurich in Switzerland, with whom he then first played in the National League B in the National League A, round off.

National

On April 16, 1975 with the 0-0 draw in Bielefeld during the Olympic qualifiers against Spain played Eder for the first time in the national jersey. He scored his first goal on May 11, 1977 in the 5-0 victory over France in Mulhouse. His only B- countries game he played on November 18, 1980 in Braunschweig in the 1-0 victory over France.

Appointed in 1986 by Franz Beckenbauer in the senior team, he came the first time on May 11, 1986 in a 1-1 draw in the Test match against Yugoslavia for use. Overall, he played nine times the national team, of which seven (all games as starting player ) at the finals of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, where they were defeated in the final with 2:3 Argentina.

Coach

As a coach Norbert Eder took over from 1992 to 1996, the responsibility in the Sports Federation Rosenheim, with whom he reached a rise in the BOL ( Bezirksoberliga ). Then a season takes place at 1.FC Garmisch Partenkirchen. After a longer break than a coach, he was from 2006 to 2008 A youth coach at TSV 1860 Rosenheim in the second highest youth league, Bayern league, and since 2008 head coach at TuS wooden churches, which he in 2010/ 11 from the District League South in the Bezirksoberliga led.

Norbert Eder has the second highest Coach Education (A- form).

Others

Eder was considered a tough but always fair defender, all the more remarkable is the fact that he only once - shown the red card - September 27, 1986 ( 8th Round ) in the 61st minute in a 1-1 draw at Werder Bremen got.
