North East England

North East England ( German North East England ) is one of the smallest of the nine regions of England. It is sometimes also called Northumbria.

Expressed in comparison with the EU GDP in purchasing power standards, the region reached an index of 92.2 (EU -25: 100 ) (2003 ).
