Noshiro, Akita
Noshiro (Japanese能 代 市, - shi) is a city located in Akita Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.
The city is in Japan for the basketball team of the Technical High School Noshiro (能 代 工业 高校Noshiro Kōgyō Koko ) is known.
Geography
Noshiro is nördtlich of Akita and Aomori southwest of the Sea of Japan.
History
On October 1, 1940, closed the city Noshirominato with the villages Shinonome (东 云 村, -mura ) and Sakaki (榊 村, -mura ) together to the city Noshiro. On 21 March 2006 Noshiro has with the community Futatsui (二ツ井 町, machi ) from the district Yamamoto merged to form the new city Noshiro.
