Nur Tatar

Only Tatar ( born August 16, 1992 Van ) is a Turkish Taekwondo. It starts in the weight category up to 67 kilograms.

Tartar starts for the club TSE Sports Club in Ankara and is trained by Cuneyt Gülçek. She won at the age of 15 years in Baku bronze at the European Junior Championships in 2007, and two years later she was in Vigo Junior European Champion and defended the title the following year in Kharkiv successful. In the adult area Tatar his international breakthrough in 2010. At the European Championships in St. Petersburg, she only lost in the final against Sarah Stevenson and won the silver medal, and two years later she was in Manchester with a final victory over Haby Niaré first time in the adult area, European champion.

Tatar won in January 2012, the European Olympic qualifying tournament in Kazan and secured a place in the 2012 Olympics in London. There she won the silver medal, which she lost the final of the South Korean Hwang Kyung- seon with 5:12 points.
