Nyainrong County
Nyainrong ( Tib: gNyan rong rdzong, Tibetan: གཉན་རོང་རྫོང, also: Nyenrong ) is a county of the district of Nagqu in Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
Area and population
Nyainrong has an area of 9017 km ². In 1990 Nyainrong had 23 627 inhabitants, of whom 23,572 were Tibetans ( 99.8%) and 55 Han Chinese (0.2%); 2003, the population had grown to 28 192 inhabitants.
