Odin Records

Odin Records was a Norwegian jazz record label that was founded in 1981 and existed until 1993.

Once in the 1970s, almost all of the modern Norwegian jazz recordings were released on the ECM label in Munich, the Norwegian jazz label Odin emerged in the 1980s after the short-lived label Nordisk in Oslo. Their first production was in 1981 an album of Thorgeir Stubø quintet; until the mid- 1990s, more than 50 albums emerged, including the album Fairytales singer Radka Toneff and pianist Steve Dobrogosz (1982 ), which became the best-selling Norwegian jazz album.
