Ogilvy & Mather is an international advertising agency, which is represented by nearly 500 agencies in 171 cities and 125 countries worldwide. In the self-definition of the Ogilvy Group sees itself as a 360 -degree full- service agency, which is about communication results.

The agency was founded in New York by the copywriter David Ogilvy under the name Hewitt, Ogilvy, Benson & Mather in 1948. Within the next few years, the agency grew, and internationally in 1965. 1966 went Ogilvy & Mather as one of the first advertising agencies in the stock market. Since 1989, Ogilvy & Mather heard the entire Ogilvy Group, the agency network WPP Group ( London-based ). In the creative rankings of the German trade press Ogilvy is found regularly in the top five.

In Germany, the agency group manages a total of over 200 clients with more than 330 individual budgets. The German office is in Frankfurt am Main. With subsidiary offices in Dusseldorf and Berlin.

In Austria, Austria Ogilvy Group serves more than 30 customers at its headquarters in Vienna.
