Ola Skarholt

Ola Skarholt is a former Norwegian orienteers. In 1970 he became world champion with the Norwegian season.

Was Skarholt 1964 Vice European Champion with the Norwegian Relay ( Skarholt, Per Kristiansen, Magne Lystad and Stig mountains). The following year, the Norwegian season with Skarholt, Åge Hadler, peer Staff and Stig mountains Nordic champion. In the first two World Orienteering Championships 1966 in Fiskari and 1968 in Linköping, the Norwegians won with Skarholt each bronze. Won the 1970 relay at the World Championships in the GDR the gold medal. Skarholt ran this on a team with Stig mountains, Per Åge Hadler and Fosser, the projection on the second placed Swedish squadron was about 15 minutes. An individual medal missed Skarholt 1970 scarce. When victory of Stig mountain Skarholt had ten seconds behind the third-placed Dieter Hulliger from Switzerland.
