Oļegs Maļuhins

Oļegs Maļuhins ( born May 6, 1969 in Daugavpils ) is a former Latvian biathlete.

Maļuhins was active between 1992 and 2004 in the Biathlon World Cup. His only victory he managed it in 1999 in the Canadian Valcartier. Overall, he was ranked in the top five at the World Cup race seven times. The best time of his career was in the years 1997 to 2000, when he was allowed to include the top 20 in the World Cup at the end of each season.

Maļuhins took a total of five times in part at the Winter Olympics. His best result here was 6th place in the sprint (1998, Nagano ). Also in the relay race belgegte Maļuhins with the Latvian team rank 6, 2006 in Turin Maļuhins stepped to cross-country skiing. Here he could not keep up with the world's elite, however. In qualifying for the sprint he left prematurely and 50km mass start, he came with a large residue as one of the last to the finish.
