Olesno County
The powiat Oleski is a powiat ( county ) in the Province of Opole in Poland with the county town of Olesno (Rosenberg ). The county has an area of 973.62 km ², which is roughly 67,000 inhabitants.

Geography
The district is located in the northeast of the Opole Voivodeship. Neighboring districts are in the north Wieluń in the Łódź Voivodeship, in eastern Kłobuck and Lubliniec (both Silesian Voivodeship ), in the south and in the west Strzelce Opole and Kluczbork.
Historically, the district area is up to the municipalities Praszka and Rudniki part of Upper Silesia.

The powiat includes seven churches, four urban and rural communities whose eponymous main towns have a city charter, and three rural communities.

The communities Radlau and Zembowitz are powerful municipal council officially bilingual since 2006, as the German population makes up in these communities over 20%. The city Guttentag is also bilingual since May 2009. (Polish and German )
