Omamori Himari

Talisman Himari (Japaneseおまもりひまり, Omamori Himari ) is a franchise of media,. , On the same manga series by artist Matra Milan The manga is published since June 2006 in the Japanese manga magazine Monthly Dragon Age, published by Fujimi Shobo. The manga was adapted as both Light Novel series as well as an anime television series.

Action

Seven years ago, the parents of Yuto Amakawa died under circumstances not precisely named. Since then, he was raised by his grandparents and he has lived since the school in their own apartment. There, his childhood friend Rinko Kuzaki care of him, as such a thing as looking at him with the time their property. The only thing that Yuto has remained by his parents a talisman ( an O- mamori ) which was presented to him by his grandmother. This should bring him luck.

But as it turns out this talisman brought him not only happiness, but should protect him from the attacks of evil spirits. However, the effect of which creates his sixteenth birthday. This is the moment at which Himari enters his life. Himari is a demon hunter in the form of a beautiful girl. Depending on the situation she has cat ears and tail ( Kemonomimi ). She vows to protect the life of Yuto, but also leaves no situation to seduce Yuto out. This results in a number of problems. For example, Rinko is jealous and Yuto turn is allergic to cats.

Formation and Publications

The manga Omamori Himari is written and drawn by Matra Milan. Since June 2006 it is published in the Japanese manga magazine Monthly Dragon Age, published by Fujimi Shobo. The first summary as tankōbon was released on 1 February 2007. Since then, 13 issues have been published so far.

Outside of Japan, the manga in Taiwan by Kadokawa Media, a branch of Kadokawa Shoten published. In the United States, the manga was licensed by Yen Press. The manga since February 2012 appears on German at Planet Manga so far with ten volumes.

Adaptations

Manga

An offshoot of the manga, in the style of Yonkoma, entitled Omamori Himari: Himaru no Opanchu has been published since the November 2009 issue of the Monthly Dragon Age.

Light Novel

An adaptation as Light Novel series written by Kogetsu Mikazuki. The illustrations are by the artist of the manga Matra Milan. The series will be published within the magazine Dragon Magazine, which is published by Fujimi Shobo also. Since 19 July 2008, the stories will be published in hardback.

Anime

The animation studio Zexcs sat directed by Shinji Ushiro to the plot of the manga into an anime television series. The screenplay was written by Masaharu Amiya Masashi and Suzuki. The character design was worked out by Satoshi Isono. The artistic direction took Naoko Kosakabe. The musical accompaniment is by Yukari Hashimoto.

The first episode was broadcast on 6 January 2010 on TV Kanagawa. A few days later also started the station BS Nippon Corporation, Chiba TV, Sun TV, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, TV Saitama and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting airing the series. Coinciding with the Original Series, the series was also provided as streaming offering on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

Music producer was Shun'ichi Uemura of Columbia Music Entertainment. In the opening credits of the title Oshichau zo was! (押し ちゃう ぞ っ! ) Used by AyaRuka. The guy was underlaid with the title BEAM my BEAM, which was interpreted by Himarinko L. Shizukuesu.
