Omar Brown

Omar Brown ( born June 21, 1982 in Trelawny Parish ) is a Jamaican sprinter.

In 1999 he took at the Youth World Championships in Bydgoszcz bronze over 100m, Silver 200m and gold in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. At the World Athletics Championships in Seville, he was employed in the flow of the 4 x 400 - meter relay and thus contributed to winning the silver medal for the Jamaican team.

In 2005, he retired at the World Championships in Helsinki injured in the flow of over 200 m. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, he won over diesel- distance gold.

On November 3, 2007 he married his fellow sprinter Veronica Campbell.
