Omar Jawo

Omar Jawo ( born November 8, 1981 in Banjul) is a gambian - Swedish football player. He currently plays for the Syrianska FC in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Career

Jawo began his career at youth Assyriska Föreningen. He moved in 2002 into the first team and scored his first goals and signed a contract with IK Frej in January 2003. After a season with IK Frej he was sold to Vallentuna BK. Signed in February 2005 for Väsby United and played 57 games in which he scored three goals before signed in February 2009 for Gefle IF.

Personal life

Omar's brother Amadou Jawo currently playing in Borås for IF Elfsborg. and his youngest brother Momodou Jawo (born 12 September 1987) is goalkeeper, but currently without a contract.
