Önder Çengel

Önder Cengel ( born July 21, 1982 in Kahramanmaras ) is a professional football player from Switzerland with Turkish roots who has both citizenships. Currently he is working for Pendikspor.

Career

Club career

The Under-21 international made ​​the first time on the second team of Grasshoppers Zurich attention to himself when he scored 28 goals with 19 in 32 games. After time with Grasshoppers, he joined the Swiss Challenge League to FC Wil. There, he scored 27 goals in 43 games. In 2006 he moved to FC Thun in the Super League. Beginning of 2007 he went to Gaziantepspor in Turkey for over 800,000 euro transfer fee.
