Ondrej Petrák (2014)

Ondřej Petrák (* 11 March 1992 in Prague) is a Czech footballer who is currently at the 1st FC Nuremberg under contract.

Career

Association

Ondřej Petrák played in his childhood from the age of five years in various clubs in Prague. He played for SK Olimpie Dolni Břežany and ABC Braník before he came over Bohemians Prague with 10 years to Slavia Prague. There he went through the other youth teams and was first used in October 2010 in the first team. In the season 2011/12 he became a permanent Erstligamannschaft, on matchday, he had his first appearance in the starting line-up and in no time he had played in the trunk of the team. In two and a half years Petrák completed 62 missions in the Gambrinus League and was doing mostly used in defensive midfield or in central defense.

During the winter break of the 2013/14 season the Czech got an offer from the German Bundesliga 1 FC Nuremberg. He changed on 7 January 2014, 21 years to the Franks and signed a contract until 2017. Already on the first return Round Round, he made his Bundesliga debut in the home match against TSG Hoffenheim when he came in to replace the injured Per Nilsson in central defense.

National

Ondřej Petrák is also Czech junior national team. Already in the U- 16, he was discovered and used six times. He then played down to the U-19 in every other youth team of the Czech Association, most recently in the U- 21st
