ONE Campaign

ONE is an American non-partisan and internationally active lobbying and campaigning organization dedicated to fighting extreme poverty and preventable diseases. Focus of the work is sub-Saharan Africa.

Unlike the vast majority of Development NGOs, ONE focuses exclusively on political work. The organization itself operates no projects of relief or development cooperation, but is particularly active against the G8 countries committed to reduce the structural obstacles to development of poorer countries.

History

The origins of ONE start in 2002 with the founding of the organization DATA, a development policy lobbying organization, the ONE 2008 merged.

Operation
