One Day Remains is the debut album by the American rock band Alter Bridge.

Genesis

Beginning of 2004 broke up the band Creed, since there had been conflicts between singer Scott Stapp and the instrumentalists. Thereupon Mark Tremonti did together (guitar), Brian Marshall ( bass) and Scott Phillips ( drums) without Stapp with Myles Kennedy, who had previously been a singer with The Mayfield Four. Together they founded the band Alter Bridge and signed shortly thereafter a contract with Wind - Up Records, where Creed had been under contract. One Day Remains was released on 10 August 2004 and later awarded in the United States with little gold. Overall, the album sold an estimated 750,000 times to date (as of 2008). As Singles Open Your Eyes, Find the Real and Broken Wings were released. To all singles up to Find the Real - it was also music videos.

Reception

Expressed Buffo Schnädelbach of Rock Hard, that the vocals of Myles Kennedy and the " organic Classic Rock " would complement each other in a weird way. With songs like "Down to My Last " or " Shed My Skin " the band would touch the listener deep into the soul. He forgave 9.5 out of ten. Peter Kubaschk of Powermetal.de wrote in his review that the album would be a highlight of the hunt next. He also stated that One Day Remains was a young classics of alternative rock for him and forgave 9.5 out of ten.
