Orders of knighthood for women
As a lady north is called orders, which were to be donated to women and only worn by women.
One can distinguish three subdivisions in Lady North: House and State Order for ladies; Order of the noble ladies - pins; Ladies crosses some Knights.
Particular characteristics of the lady north to 1918 were:
- That most of them had only one class and, although often equated the Grand Cross, breast star had not;
- That they were worn on a ladies bow on the left chest.
