Orhan Ölmez

Orhan Ölmez ( born May 16, 1978 in Antalya) is a Turkish singer and composer of popular music.

Life

Orhan Ölmez lived for 15 years in Izmir. 1986-1987 he discovered his interest in music when he met the saz. During his whole school, he was interested in western music. The total school he finished in Izmir. He also visited a Turkish Konservatuar ( Conservatory ) of the Aegean University. He worked as a saz player in the field of Turkish folk music, including a year working for Radio Izmir. Later, he began his professional artistic life by working as a composer and arranger in Istanbul and Izmir.

In 2003, his first album Su Misali came out, which was very successful and made ​​him known. He left in 2005 his second album Herseyin Farkindayim call; Also this album was very successful. In 2006 he was chosen as the best artist of fantasy music of the year of the Kral TV Music Awards competitions, which was broadcast live from the Turkish channel Kral TV. During Ramadan of 2006 he showed his skill and presented his program iftar and sahur.

His father is from Divriği, Sivas Province, his mother from Turgutlu Manisa Province. He has a sister.
