Ostenau

The Ostenau (Danish: Øster Å) is about 22 km long, right or northern tributary of the Arlau in the district of North Friesland, Schleswig -Holstein.

Course

The Ostenau begins about four and a half kilometers northeast of Löwenstedt in the Seeland Moor as the confluence of some trenches on the border with the district of Schleswig -Flensburg. Initially it flows westwards to kinking in Drelsdorf south. South-east of this village it runs in a westerly direction to flow between Bohmstedt and alpine village in the Arlau.
