Ostropomycetidae

The Ostropomycetidae are a subclass of ascomycetes that are Flechtenbildner part.
Features
The Ostropomycetidae are partially Flechtenbildner, the thallus is crust- like or thread-like. The photobiont belonging to the genus Trentepohlia, Coccomyxa, Trebouxia or other chloroccalen green algae.
The fruiting bodies are sunk in the thallus, sessile or stalked on in, have the shape of apothecia or perithecia. Eight or fewer ascospores are formed per ascus. These are colorless, simple, querseptiert or muri form. The paraphyses are more or less branched strong. The asci are unitunicat or bitunicat, but then functionally bitunikat. They usually do not have a Tholus.
System
The subclass Ostropomycetidae includes the following four orders:
- Agyriales
- Baeomycetales
- Ostropales
- Pertusariales
Miadlikowska et al. have created the following cladogram. Accordingly, the types of the earlier order Gyalectales be incorporated into the order Ostropales. The two families Arthrorhaphidaceae and Loxosporaceae that were still made subclass Lecanoromycetidae, order Lecanorales in Eriksson 2006.
