The Ottawa Macdonald- Cartier International Airport (French Aéroport international Macdonald -Cartier d' Ottawa ) is located in Ontario, Canada in Canada's capital, Ottawa.

The airport was named in honor of the two fathers of the Canadian Alliance States John A. Macdonald and George -Étienne Cartier. He has no great significance for the international air traffic in comparison to the airports in Montreal or Toronto. There are predominantly carried out flights within Canada and the adjacent United States. In 2008, about 4.5 million passengers were recorded at approximately 70,000 aircraft movements. To this end, the airport currently has start and runways with lengths of 2438 and 3048 meters. Additionally, there is another small train, however this is without lights and therefore more for private flying (General Aviation ) with small aircraft, suitable, for example Cessna.
