Oval (musical project)

Oval is the name of a German electronic music project.

Founded in 1991 as a band, consisting of Markus Popp, Sebastian Oschatz and Frank Metzger, the band broke up in 1996 in strife and became a solo project by Markus Popp ( born February 24, 1968 in Darmstadt, Germany, now living in Berlin and working). Popp also published in collaboration with Jan St. Werner of Mouse on Mars under the name Microstoria, and in 2003 together with Eriko Toyada as Sun
