Paciano Aniceto

Paciano Basilio Aniceto ( born March 11, 1937 in Santa Ana ) is Archbishop of San Fernando.

Life

Paciano Basilio Aniceto received on 23 December 1962, and was ordained priest incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of San Fernando. John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 7 April 1979 in Tuguegarao and Titular Bishop of Tlos.

He received his episcopal consecration, the Pope personally on 27 May of the same year; Co-consecrators were Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy, secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, and Raymond Ken'ichi Tanaka, substitute of the Secretariat of State.

On August 20, 1983, he was appointed bishop of Iba. On 31 January 1989 he was appointed Archbishop of San Fernando.
