Pape Diakhaté 2008

Pape Malikou Diakhaté ( born June 21, 1984 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player. He also holds French citizenship.

Career

Clubs

Diakhaté plays in the position of central defender. Since his youth he played for AS Nancy and took this in the 2006/ 07 UEFA Cup part. In 2007 he moved to the Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev. It quickly he managed to establish himself in the first team and to come since then regularly used.

For the second half of the 2013/14 season Diakhaté was loaned to the Turkish first division club Kayseri Erciyesspor.

National

Diakhaté is National Player of the Senegal and has played 36 international matches. In 2006 he finished fourth with Senegal at the Africa Cup.
