Papyrus 89

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 89) Papyrus 89 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript contains parts of Hebrews. Have been preserved are the verses 6,7-9.15-17. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is too short to assign it to a text type. Aland placed it into any category of manuscripts of the New Testament.

The manuscript is preserved in the Laurentian Library ( PL III/292 ) in Florence.
