Park Chu-young

Park Chu -young (born 10 July 1985 in Daegu ) is a South Korean football player who was selected by the 2004 AFC at the best youth players. He is now under contract at Arsenal, but played on loan at Watford FC.

Career

Parks first season at FC Seoul was very successful, he was elected scorer and the best youth players in the K- League. In the following two seasons at FC Seoul had a long goal drought through Park Chu -young. When he AS Monaco made ​​a bid in the summer of 2008, he moved to Ligue 1 in France. After descending to the AS Monaco in Ligue 2, he moved in August 2011 to Arsenal. After a year he was loaned out for the season 2012/13 on the Spanish side Celta Vigo. On January 31, 2014 Park moved up to the end of the season on loan at Watford FC.

In 2004, he led the Korean youth national football team for the eleventh title in the U-19 Football Asian Championships. He also was elected the most important player of the tournament. However, the hysteria about Park Chu -young broke out in 2005 right after he had shot at an invitational tournament in Qatar for the U-20 National Team nine goals in four games.

After strong performances in his debut year in the K -League was parking at the soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany in the World Cup squad South Korea and came once used. Since he was able to continue in Europe to his old performances, the South Korean coach Huh Jung- moo brought him back into the national team. Here he scored in the match against Saudi Arabia in November 2008, the goal for a 2-0 final score. With another hit in June 2009 against the United Arab Emirates, he secured his country finally participating in the World Cup finals in South Africa.

2008 and 2012 he was in the squad of the South Korean team for the Olympic Games and came in all nine games for use.
