Park Kyung-mo

Park Kyung- mo ( born August 15, 1975 in Okcheon ) is a South Korean archer.

Park Kyung -mo belongs since 1993 to the world's best. At the World Cup of the year in Antalya, he won the singles title and silver with the team. The next major success was a long time coming. At the World Championships in Beijing 2001 Park won the team title. He reached in 2003 in New York City and 2005 in Madrid this success. In individual could park in 2001 also won bronze. At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, the shooter was fifth in the individual competition and won with the South Korean team. At the games, he presented reached 173 rings on an Olympic record. Winning the team gold could repeat in Beijing 2008, the South Koreans. Four days after the gold gain he reached the final for the gold medal in the individual competition. Surprisingly, he was beaten with 112-113 rings against the Ukrainian Viktor Ruban. Among the successes at major events several wins and top placings come at World Cup events.
