Patrick L. Willis ( born January 25, 1985 in Bruceton, Tennessee) is an American professional American football player at the position of linebackers. He plays with the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League ( NFL).

Patrick Willis was selected in the 2007 NFL Draft in the first round by the San Francisco 49ers. He plays on the Inside Linebacker position and turned in his first season one ( unofficial ) record for the most tackles in the regular season of the NFL. For these extraordinary achievements, he was elected Defensive Rookie of the Year and the Pro Bowl.
