Paul Sawtell
Paul Sawtell ( born February 3, 1906 in Gilve; † August 1, 1971 in Los Angeles ) was a Polish-born American film composer.
Life
Sawtell began his career at RKO Pictures and changes to Universal Studios later. He composed mainly for Western and horror movies. Among the most important films in which he participated, including the Sherlock Holmes movies The Pearl of Death and The Claw. In the late 1940 years, he moved back to RKO Pictures. In addition, he also worked for various independent film production companies such as Eagle -Lion Films.
Sawtell was interred in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale.
