Paul Szczechura

Paul Szczechura ( born November 30, 1985 in Brantford, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since September 2012 in Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Paul Szczechura began his career as a hockey player in the team of Western Michigan University, where he was four years active from 2003 to 2007. Towards the end of the 2006/07 season the Canadians received a contract with the Iowa Stars, for which he was active in the following season in the American Hockey League. During the 2007/ 08 season Szczechura first moved to their league rivals Norfolk Admirals before he as a free agent a contract with their partners, the Tampa Bay Lightning received on 24 April 2008, for which he in the 2008 /09 season his debut in the National Hockey League announced.

In August 2011, he was committed as a free agent by the Buffalo Sabres and came in the next game year, along with nine NHL operations, mainly with the Rochester Americans in the AHL for use.

In May 2012, he was obliged by HC Lev Prague from the Kontinental Hockey League. He left the end of September the HC LEv after three KHL games and was obliged Dinamo Riga.
