Pedro Taborda

Pedro Manuel Taborda Moreira ( born June 22, 1978 in Covilhã, Castelo Branco District ) is a Portuguese football player. The goalkeeper played 91 games in the Portuguese Super Liga and the Romanian League 1 since the summer of 2011, he stands at Naval 1 º de Maio under contract.

Career

The career of Taborda started at Ermesinde SC in the Segunda Divisão Portuguesa, the Portuguese third division. After three years he moved in summer 2002 to league rivals SC Freamunde before 2004 Naval 1 º de Maio signed him in the year that starred in the Liga de Honra for promotion to the Super League. In the following season came with Taborda as goalkeeper, the desired rise and he could keep up with Naval 1 º de Maio three times the class, he no longer regularly came into use in the 2007/ 08 season.

In the summer of 2008 Taborda Portugal left and moved to Romania for FC Timişoara. He is deputy of Costel Pantilimon goalkeeper and could therefore contribute very little to the runner-up in 2009 and 2011 and to reach the Cup Finals in 2009.
