Peggy Lipton
Peggy Lipton ( born August 30, 1946 in New York City, New York ) is an American actress.
Life
Lipton worked as a photo model. At 17, she went to Hollywood and received guest roles in various television series. She also appeared in several television films and has starred in Disney's Civil War drama Mosby 's Marauders on the side of Kurt Russell.
It was as a private detective in the series Mod Squad ( The Mod Squad ) is known 1968. When Peggy Lipton in 1974 the musician Quincy Jones married, she finished her career first and only appeared once in the Return of the Mod Squad. After her divorce from Quincy Jones in 1987 but it was again in many television series such as Twin Peaks and Alias - to see the agent. In 1993 she played a role in Michael Jackson's music video Black and White.
Lipton was each nominated four times for a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award. In 1971 she was awarded by the readers of the youth magazine Bravo Golden Bravo Otto for Best Female TV Star. In 1972, she received the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama for Mod Squad.
She is the sister of actor Robert Lipton. With Quincy Jones together they have two children.
