Per Frimann
Per Frimann ( born June 4, 1962 in Gladsaxe ) is a former Danish football player and current co- commentator for Danish television station TV3.
Career as a footballer
Association
Per Frimann began his career at AB Copenhagen, however, changed in January 1981 for Kjøbenhavns Bold Club. In January 1982 he went abroad and indeed for Belgian club RSC Anderlecht. At the club from the Brussels suburb of Anderlecht, he became a regular player and won many titles. In 1983 he won together with his countrymen Morten Olsen and Kenneth Brylle the UEFA Cup, as the RSC Anderlecht prevailed in the final against Benfica. 1985, 1986 and 1987, he was with the RSC Anderlecht Belgian champion. For the second half of the 1987/88 season he was loaned to Aarhus GF, with whom he won the Danish Cup. In January 1989, he left the RSC Anderlecht final and went back to his Danish homeland, where he played from now on for Brøndby IF. In 1990, he finished his career at the age of 28 years.
National
On July 16, 1979 On Frimann made his international debut for the Danish U-19 selection. Against Poland (1:1) was substituted by Frimann for Brian Hansen. In his second outing, a 5-1 against Portugal, Per Frimann hat-trick. He also came in qualifying for the U-19 Football Championship used. His last international match for Denmark U19 was the 0-4 against England on 26 March 1980. Per Frimann played seven times for the U- 19 Selection of Denmark ( four hits).
On 2 June 1980 Frimann first played for the U- 21 team in Denmark. Per Frimann stood in the starting lineup. He was also in the qualification for the U -21 Football Championship 1982 here. However, the qualification did not succeed. Even with the qualification for U -21 Football Championship 1984, he was there. Also, this qualification has been missed. That qualifier against England (1:4) on 20 September 1983 was also Frimanns last game for the U- 21st There were a total of ten missions for the U-21 Representation of Denmark ( a hit ).
On October 12, 1983 Frimann first played for the senior national team of Denmark. In the 6-0 win against Luxembourg, in qualifying for the European Football Championship 1984, he came on in the 83rd minute for Klaus Mountain Green. The qualification for the European Football Championship was successful.
For the European Football Championship 1984, he was not nominated. He made his third international match on 8 May 1985 against the GDR. Even in qualifying for the World Cup 1986, he was there. This qualification was successful. Participated for the first time for the World Cup, in which Denmark, Frimann was indeed nominated, but did not play. The Danes secreted only from after the second round.
When qualifying for Euro 1988, he was one of the party. And this time you could qualify for precisely that tournament. In the European Football Championship 1988 in Germany Frimann was there and also got to use one. The Danes, however, eliminated from the group stage.
On September 6, 1989 by Frimann made his last international match. In the 2-2 draw against the Netherlands, he came on in the 76th minute for Flemming Povlsen.
