Peter Casparsson

Peter Casparsson ( born March 14, 1975 in Falun ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who stood between 2007 and 2012 at the Vienna Capitals of the Austrian Hockey League contract.

Career

Peter Casparsson began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Leksand IF, for the first team, he was active in the Elitserien 1993-1996. He then spent two years in the then still second-class Division 1, before he signed for the 1998/99 season in the league rivals Linköpings HC with which he rose straight into the Elitserien. After then descend into the newly formed second division HockeyAllsvenskan, he succeeded with his team in 2001, the immediate resurgence. Until 2005, he played almost exclusively in the Elitserien for Linköpings HC, only the 2002/03 season he finished in its league rivals Malmö Redhawks.

From 2005 to 2007 Casparsson was one long season for SG Cortina in the Italian Serie A1, and the Straubing Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. For the 2007 /08 season the former Swedish junior national team for the Vienna Capitals standing in the Austrian Hockey League on the ice.

In 2012, he ended his career and was waiting at Linköpings HC material.

Internationally

For Sweden Casparsson took part in the U18 European Junior Championships in 1993, where he won first place with his team.
