Peter Hanson

Peter Hanson (born 4 October 1977 in Trelleborg, Sweden) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the PGA Tour.

Won three professional tournaments on the Swedish Telia Tour After a very successful amateur career, during which Hanson next to the major English Amateur Stroke Play Championship, he was professional golfer in 1998.

After some ups and downs Hanson could establish from the 2004 season on the European Tour and his first victory there in 2005 - at the Open de España Jazztel en Andalucía - achieve. In that year he was also the first time convened in the continental European team for the Seve Trophy and reached number 23 on the European Tour Order of Merit a substantial ranking, which he could surpass 2007 number 20, as well as 2008 and 2009, each with rank 16, Hanson before the 2011 season ranked number 13 scored. In the 2012 season he achieved his best result with fourth place in the final ranking of the Race to Dubai.

When Masters 2012 Hanson led after three rounds and eventually reached with a shared third place his best finish at Major Championships.

Since 2012, Hanson also plays on the U.S. PGA Tour, which he completed in 2013 on the 127th place on the money list.
