Peter Lorentzen

Peter Lorentzen ( born September 2, 1983 in Fredrikstad ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who is since 2009 in the Stavanger Oilers in the GET ligaen under contract.

Career

Peter Lorentzen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior level of Stjernen Hockey, for the first team he made his debut in the GET ligaen was in the 2000 /01 season, where in 21 games he prepared a goal. Then the attacker spent two years at the Tri -City Americans in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League, before he returned to the 2003/04 season to Europe, where he received a contract with Järfälla HC from the Division 1, the third Swedish league. After he started the 2004/05 season at Uppsala hockey in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan, he was committed in the course of the season from IK Comet from Norway, for he stood in the following two and a half years on the ice.

In summer 2007, Lorentzen signed at the Swedish second division Rögle BK, with the he succeeded Earned promotion in the Elitserien, where he scored four goals in 51 games in the 2008 /09 season and gave three assists. Then he left the club and joined the following season on the Stavanger Oilers in his native Norway. With his new club, he became in 2010 first Norwegian champion and 2011 runner-up.

Internationally

For Norway Lorentzen took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2000, the U18 Junior A World Cup 2001 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2002 part. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships A- 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the qualification for the Olympic Winter Games 2010.
