Petra Schwarz

Petra Black Knight ( born May 24, 1972 in Vienna as Petra Ritter ) is a former Austrian tennis player.

Career

Petra Black Knights played from 1987 to 1997 on the WTA Tour. Their highest placing in the tennis singles world ranking she achieved on 9 January 1995 with rank 52 Black Knight was able to record on the WTA Tour a tournament victory in double, namely 1992 in Prague with Karin Kschwendt. It reached its greatest success after beating Lisa Raymond Nathalie Tauziat, Miriam Oremans Ruxandra Dragomir and before she lost in the quarterfinals against Mary Pierce at the French Open in 1994.

She played Between 1988 and 1996 a total of 22 times for the Austria Fed Cup. Black Knights won eleven and lost eleven matches.

In 1992 she took part in the Olympic Games in tennis.

She ended her active career in 1997.

Their successes celebrated Black Knight under her birth name Ritter.
