Philibert of Jumièges

Philibert, called Philibert of Jumièges, Philibert de Noirmoutier or Philibert of Tournus (* 617 or 618 in Eause, Gers department, † August 20 in Noirmoutier 684 ) was a monk and Dept. Biography

Philibert (or Filiberto ) was the only son of Filibaud, a senior official in Vic or Vic- Jour (Latin vicus Julius, now Vic- Fezensac in the department of Gers), where he was bishop. He came to 617/18 in the old city Eause ( Guyenne ) to the world and was educated in Vic of excellent instructors.
