Photovoltaik Global 30 Index

The photovoltaic Global 30 Index is an index of Deutsche Börse and was launched on 1 June 2009. The index is weighted by market capitalization and contains up to 30 companies. Basic requirements for inclusion in the index, a turnover of at least 50 percent in the field of photovoltaics, a daily trading volume of one million U.S. dollars and a market capitalization of 100 million U.S. dollars. The maximum weight of each index member is generally 10 percent. In every three months take place index adjustments, but also in special events (eg insolvency), the composition can be changed.
