Pierre Boya
Pierre Boya ( born January 6, 1984 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian football player at the position of a striker. He stood up to January 2013 in Austria Lustenau in the First League, the second highest Austrian league, under contract.
Career
Association
Boya began his career with Union Douala, where players like Thimothée Atouba or Joël Epalle were active.
In 2002 he moved abroad and signed a contract with Salam Zgharta in the highest Lebanese league. A year later he moved to Tripoli SC, who still went by the name Olympic Beirut at that time. There he could as a substitute, although no recorded use in the championship, but the club won the Cup and this remained Olympic successful.
In 2003 it was the first time to Europe. Boya signed a contract with FK Partizan Belgrade in Serbia. In his first year with Partizan, he was runner-up behind the FK Red Star Belgrade. 2004/ 05 was a more successful year. Initially Boya made his debut at the European level and came up with Partizan to the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup. The striker made his debut against the representative from Romania Dinamo Bucharest and played in the 3-1 first leg success in Belgrade through and scored the 2:1. A total of two goals followed in the European Cup this season. Also in the championship Partizan was successful with Boya. The Serbo- Montenegrin league title could be fetched. A year later, the club was runner-up again. After another runner-up title in 2006/ 07, the Cameroonian joined Rapid Bucharest in Romania.
In Rapid he was able to prevail at first. He made his debut 26 August 2007 against FC Timişoara when he came on in the 73rd minute for Mugurel Buga. At the end of Rapid finished third and qualified for the UEFA Cup. In the second season Boya came to eleven inserts for rapid in the first round. In the winter transfer period, he moved to France and played at this time in Grenoble.
The debut was against FC Valenciennes, when he came in to replace his compatriot Albert Baning in the 64th minute. The game ended 0-0. This was followed by another 14 games in the Boya was used, where he scored a goal against AC Le Havre. At the end of Grenoble finished in 13th place.
In summer 2010 he left Grenoble and joined his former club Partizan Belgrade, but he also left again in the winter.
On October 13, 2011, Austria Lustenau the obligation of the striker knows where he has so far played no league game due to a lack of player eligibility. In January 2012, the striker received his eligibility to play and was able to convince as a regular player with an impressive goal tally.
In January 2013 he was dismissed from Austria Lustenau, since he did not appear for the first training session of the Vorarlberg.
National
Internationally, he came up with so far four inserts for Cameroon and scored one goal. He participated in the African Nations Cup in 2006 partly in Egypt, where Cameroon reached the quarter- finals. He came in the first group game against Angola and the third group match against DR Congo used.
