Mugurel Buga

Mugurel Mihai Buga ( born December 16, 1977 in Braşov ) is a Romanian football player. The striker has since the summer of 2011 at FC Braşov in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

The career of Buga began in 1997 at FC Braşov in his hometown when he on 23 April his first appearance in Divizia A, the highest Romanian football league came. After his club was relegated at the end of the season, he was in the following season for stem force in Divizia B. After the re-emergence in the season 1997/98 was still missing in third place, he returned with his team a year later to the top flight back. There he secured with his team in the first year the class whereabouts. At the beginning of 2001, he spent six months on loan to Rapid Bucharest, but he could not prevail and there was only three bets. Then played three and a half years Buga in Brasov, before he took another shot at Rapid, which obliged him fast at the beginning of 2005. After a third place in the season 2004/05 2005/ 06 was the most successful of his career. He graduated from The League with his team as runner behind Steaua Bucharest, while the quarter-finals was achieved in the UEFA Cup, where the team also Steaua had to go first. The season ended with the Cup victory in 2006, which was repeated a year later.

In the season 2008/ 09 Buga was loaned for a year at FC Braşov, but could not build on previous achievements there. He returned to Rapid Skoda Xanthi and was transferred into the winter break 2009/10 to Greece. There he placed himself with his team twice in the middle of the league, before he returned to Romania in summer 2011 and again signed for FC Braşov.

National

Buga was first appointed to his squad for two games of the Romanian national team in the qualification for the 2004 European Championship in 2003 by the then national coach Anghel Iordănescu, but did not play. Three years later Iordanescu successor Victor Piţurcă summoned him again in the circle of the national team for an international duty in the United States. He was born on May 25, 2006 against Northern Ireland on his first international match, scoring the gate to a 1-0 lead. Even two days later against Colombia, he stood on the grid. As a result, he came only to short sessions. On 7 February 2007, he came in a friendly against Moldova on his last mission.
