Piotr Czesław Brożek (* April 21, 1983 in Kielce, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

The 1.78 m wide and 74 -pound midfielder started his career at the provincial club Polonia Białogon Kielce. After a short stint with SMS Zabrze in 2001 he moved to Wisła Kraków. In 2001 he played his first league game. In the following years, he first was able to secure a regular place and was loaned to the then second division Łódzki KS Gornik Zabrze and in 2004 to 2002. His breakthrough came only in the 2005/06 season, as he completed 18 league matches and scored one hit. In January 2011, he was committed along with his twin brother Paweł by the Turkish giants Trabzonspor. In 178 games in the Polish Ekstraklasa he scored 14 goals.

For the 2012/13 season he broke through mutual agreement with Trabzonspor on his contract and left the club.

Shortly before the beginning of the season 2012/13 Ekstraklasa signed Brozek one-year contract with Lechia Gdańsk. This contract the end of May 2013 was canceled prematurely.

On October 14, 2013 it was announced that Piotr Brożek has returned to Wisła Kraków.

National

Like his twin brother Piotr Paweł also passed through almost all Polish national youth teams. In the Polish national team he debuted on February 2, 2008 against Finland. His first and only goal he scored 23 January 2010 in a friendly against Singapore.
