Pledis Entertainment

Pledis Entertainment is a South Korean artist agency and a record label. The company was founded in 2007 by Han Sung Soo, a former dancer with SM Entertainment was founded. Focus is the casting of individual artists and music groups, the so-called South Korean idols.

In autumn 2011 auditions were held in Los Angeles and San Francisco. 2012 was presented with NU'EST first time in the history of a boy band label. In May 2012, also debuted Pledis ' new girl group Hello Venus.
