Pnau

Pnau is an Australian electro-pop duo from Sydney.

Band History

Mid-1990, the school friends Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes joined forces and followed by the name of Pnau acid house and trance wave. With their debut album Samba Nova in 2000 they had their first success in the Australian charts. The best dance release of the year they got it even a ARIA Award The second publication Again they could not build three years later to it, but with the album Pnau they turned 2007 back on track and had the outcoupling baby their only previous solo hit single.

In addition to the project Pnau both musicians are active also with other artists. Nick Littlemore founded, for example, with the singer Luke Steele the internationally successful pop duo Empire of the Sun. Another successful collaboration between the two Pnau musician with the British pop star Elton John 2012 led to the album Good Morning to the Night, in the sample the Australian Elton John songs and remix. It reached number one on the British charts.

The following year, the two French DJs Faul & Wad ad served in their hit single baby and turned it into a saxophone - insert the song Changes. Thus, they were particularly in German-speaking success and reached in December 2013 in Germany even the chart peak.
