Pomianowo, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Pomianowo ( German Pumlow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is a part of the community Białogard ( Belgard ) and is located in the powiat Białogardzki.

Geographical location

Pomianowo is located six kilometers northeast of Belgard in a very torfreichen lowlands. The village can be reached by a side road to Zaspy Małe to the Province Road 167 ( droga wojewódzka 167). The nearest train station is Białogard.

History

In a 1484 made ​​out Lehnbrief the patronage of the church Pumlower Jürgen von Kleist is awarded. However, the settlement was probably written quite a few decades earlier, because according to another source, a house of God has already been standing here in 1411.
