Pompoï Department

Pompoï ​​is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African nation of Burkina Faso, in the region of Boucle du Mouhoun and the province balé. The municipality has 11,060 inhabitants in nine villages.

On 29 February 2008, a new mosque was inaugurated in Pompoï ​​that musulmane of the Agence d' Afrique (AMA ) was built and about 5 million CFA francs (approximately € 7,500 ) cost.
