Praha ( until 1927 slovak also " Prága "; Hungarian Gácsprága - to 1902 Prága ) is a municipality in southern Slovakia. It is located in the mountains Ostrôžky, 15 km west of Lučenec away.

The community was founded by the Hussites in the 15th century and was first mentioned in writing in 1451. The name probably derives from the Czech capital Prague, from its environment, the Hussites, who settled here had been driven well.

The municipality maintains friendly relations with the Czech capital.
