Prince Christian of Denmark
Prince Christian Valdemar Henri John to Denmark, Count of Monpezat (* 15 October 2005 in Copenhagen) is the eldest son of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and his wife Mary Donaldson. The prince takes the second place in the Danish throne.
Life
Prince Christian was baptized on January 21, 2006 in the chapel of Christiansborg Castle on the name Christian Valdemar Henri John. The name of the prince was announced traditionally only at the baptism. The prince was by his grandfathers, Prince Henrik of Denmark and John Donaldson named. Christian is a classic name in the Danish royal house and every second Danish King ordered since 1448, like that. His godparents are: Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, Crown Princess Mette- Marit of Norway, his paternal uncle Prince Joachim of Denmark, Crown Prince Paul of Greece, his maternal aunt Jane Stephens, Hamish Campbell and Jeppe craft.

The prince is growing up with his brothers and sisters, the Princesses Isabella and Josephine and Prince Vincent, in Copenhagen.
As of 2007, the Prince attended a public kindergarten, Dronning Louise Børnehus, near Fredensborg Palace, where he first lived with his parents. In the fall of 2010, the family moved to the city of Copenhagen Amalienborg Palace and so joined Prince Christian and his sister Isabella in early 2011 in the garrison Sogns Menigheds Børnehave.
Since August 2011, the Prince attended a public elementary school that Tranegårdsskolen in Gentofte.
The prince takes occasionally true first public duties with his parents or grandparents. So he unveiled a portrait of Duke Ulrich of Denmark Rosenborg Castle and a portrait of his grandmother, his father and himself in June 2010 he was a Page at the wedding of his godmother, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling.
Prince Christian is on the Danish throne currently ranked second as a descendant of Queen Victoria, he is out in the list of British heir to the throne.
