Prince Koreyasu

Prince Koreyasu (Japanese惟 康 亲王, Koreyasu - shinnō; * May 26, 1264, † November 25, 1326 ) reigned from 1266 to 1289 as the seventh shogun of the Kamakura shogunate in Japan. He was a nominal ruler, the real power lay with the Hojo regents.

Prince Koreyasu was the son of the sixth shogun, Prince Munetaka. He was at the age of 2 years after the deposition of his father's Shogun. It is reported by him during his tenure, nothing significant. At the age of 25, he was deposed because he was "too old, was " to act as a puppet.

Prince Hisaaki succeeded him as eighth shogun.
